So you're broke! Does not mean you still can not do something special for Valentine's Day to see how much you care.

Here are some ideas for a cheap date, but romantic:

1. There is nothing wrong with a walk. Just be a special place – a place with a view somewhere that brings back good memories, window shopping for things you crave. Just be sure to hold hands.

2. If you can cook, dine with candles at home. A little background music in the background and you're done.

3. If you do can not cook, so what? Stop at the grocery store, get a chicken ready to cook a bag of salad, the rest is the same.

4. If the event does excite you, and the performance of a hot bath? Have candles and music can be prepared a bottle of wine and two big fluffy towels for later.

5. A picnic is always a good idea. And if it's too cold outside, creating space inside! Clear an area where you can put some chairs and beach towels. Play Beach Boys music or reggae. Wear sunglasses and shorts. You get the idea! Then you have your picnic with paper plates, plastic cups and all.

6. Give a list of promises. So you can not do everything I want now make a promise in writing instead. In fact, his promise not to be anything that costs money. You can promise to quit if that would your lover happy. Do not go too far, however. Remember, you must keep the promise. And to make it a special event, writing and put his promise in a box.

7. Forget dinner! Go straight for dessert. How something that chocolate covered strawberries typical Valentine's Day? Then, get red flowers (the largest variety you can find) and the dispersion of the petals to create a path to the room. (In Assuming that your relationship is this, of course).

8. Give love coupons. Create your coupons special someone can "cash in". It could be 10 kisses a day for a month, use of sexy lingerie that he likes so much, but I hate you, give a massage. Use your imagination.

9. Then there's always a movie. Just be sure to get something that appeals to both, and probably not a good idea to go something like the Terminator, unless it becomes at once. A marathon movie romance of the elderly is a winner.

10. There may be poetry readings and conferences with the other half wants. You can hate it, but it's not the point, right?

11. Here's a novel idea that if your partner is altruistic. Volunteer together. Not only that his partner was impressed by his selflessness will be actually do good to another person.

12. The date of the sporty type? Challenge him to a game face to face, leaving to work together, can play beer pong, to think of something! Assuming you do, of course.

13. Plan a treasure hunt. It will take effort to configure. Plan a route that is meaningful to them. Give your tracks to take his family from one place to another. The final destination could be the place that for the first time, a favorite bar where you can enjoy a drink, anywhere.

14. One of my favorites – museums! It is easy spend hours in a museum. Imagine themselves at the time, think what might have been like to meet another time. And if the past is not your thing, consider the art galleries, a planetarium, the zoo.

15. Here's a good wall – a photo shoot! Get the camera, create a space or a favorite place to go and take pictures of others. Blow kisses, get a smile or simply ridiculous. Later you can print your favorite photos and have a wonderful keepsake for years to come.

So I hope this helps, but nothing to do, ex-husband not follow my example. The first day of Valentine's Day together, he has become with two potted plants, I said they were "us". As flowering plants, how we love (he says). So I entered "Liz" and "Skip" in the window and the day after the dog took hold of "Liz" and had a wonderful time pulling the plant around the house until it was just stick soft, chewed. I said that my ex-husband, right?

The year 2005 was big for Italian composer Dario Marianelli. His score for The Brothers Grimm received much applause (probably more than the film itself) and a few months later he came back with another batch of compositions for a period film. This time around, the plaudits are reversed: The film is better than the score. And that’s not the only reversal: Since several of his compositions were to …
