I flew my kite as a child on a hill and remember how I felt happy. My Comet and I went everywhere that is until one day, the wind, I met appeared suddenly, without warning, and it was too much of a strain for my line. I stood and watched helplessly hearing the Snap! Crack;! Line finally relented and released reminded me … When you left, and that mate, that crack, which erupted inside me, how the sound reverberated and hit me as many waves pass through each change me, change my thoughts, my feelings until I was paralyzed and yet. However, you were free.
As you read this poem, I think this is one of its best …….. Especially as metaphor. My father flew kites as a kid, I thought "that" flew so high they get, and oh! The heart when they FAILED down ………..
